My Experience Participating in VG Miss/Mrs India Empress 2025
A journey of courage, preparation, challenges, and self-discovery — here’s how I lived through the unforgettable days of Visionara Global’s Miss/Mrs Empress India 2025.

The very first step — even thinking of participating and filling out the form — was so difficult. Thanks to social media, I saw the form there! Even after filling it out, I kept thinking, I’ll never actually go for the competition. But the convincing tone of Mrs Binita Srivastva kept pursuing me, reminding me that I could at least give four days of my life to myself. By the time I finally picked up the call from Visionara Global, 11 days had already passed! Only about a month was left. I joined the recorded sessions, but as I was in a job the overwhelming list of activities passed to me in the recorded session scared me. Two things to purchase were assigned to me, and I can vouch for the impossible feeling of completing any task from scratch, as there was so much to prepare within just one month. In the beginning, we were asked to send our 90-second introduction video. It took me a whole day to record it three times on my phone — with different shots like head shot, side shot etc. Even though it didn’t turn out great, I sent it anyway! On social media, we had to share covered/uncovered photos of our latest purchases — whether heels, gowns, jewellery, or dresses. Everyone showcased according to their own preferences. Those who loved making reels created videos of their purchases — be it make-up, jewellery, outfits for different sounds. I also stole some time to learn a few steps for the talent round. We were advised to buy gowns in red, black, and white for different events. The size and fit of the outfits mattered so much, and on the delivery date, the anxiety was real. By the time the month passed, reality struck — I still hadn’t received some awaited dresses. The over-packed days and other responsibilities never gave me enough time to practice properly. I kept watching YouTube videos on how to answer questions and how to maintain gestures for different rounds. But one thing I realized: your true nature always shines through. That’s what really reflects when we participate.
The Journey
When we finally reached, we were allotted rooms. Soon, the back-to-back sessions started — catwalk training in heels, stage practice, dance, interviews, everything! We hardly had time to sleep or rest, as every day was packed with multiple practice rounds. But if you know how to enjoy each moment — whether it’s the talent round or any other activity — everything feels easier. One of the happiest ways to enjoy life is to help others. Don’t treat them as competitors. Appreciate them for overcoming their own challenges. Believe me, it feels wonderful when someone from the group appreciates you too. There’s no need for jealousy or negativity. You’re just here to demonstrate what you’ve learned over the years. Nothing can be learned in one day. If someone is better than you in something, it means she has spent years honing that skill. Respect that! Soon, the final day arrived after late-night practices. some or the other practical problem we all have faced as it was pouring cats & dogs from the sky a night before & it didn’t stop the next day also! Arranging everything and making sure participants assembled near the stage was tough. Two things are most required here: Stepping into the shoes of the organizers and understanding their struggles.
Being present. Even one missing person could disturb the flow of rehearsals.
On the final day, as always, instructions were repeated again and again. Some participants didn’t listen carefully, while others simply froze on stage. The make-up team was outstanding — punctual and professional. As it was raining, backstage space shrank, and we had to manage with a makeshift changing room. Despite the chaos, everyone wanted to put their best foot forward. All the performances were group performances. Some were much better than expected, while others didn’t go as planned. Still, supportive guidance from our mentor, encouraging the audience to clap, made a big difference.
Appreciation
I truly admire every participant who walked the stage like a model with only three days of practice. Their courage was inspiring! I was so delighted when results were announced that I couldn’t contain my excitement. Out of 56 participants, 26 were shortlisted for the Q&A round. We all stood on stage with our heads high answering gracefully, it was an unforgettable moment. Different categories of awards were announced. And whether you get the crown or not — the experience itself is priceless. After those five days, you emerge as a completely different person — with qualities and confidence that might otherwise take years to build. We celebrate our birthdays every year to mark growth. But this participation felt like adding many feathers to our crown, as it’s truly a race for the CROWN. There’s a long list of people to thank, but most of all: Binita Ma’am and Vishwas Sir. The way they welcomed us, guided us, and managed every step was remarkable & all the interns in their team & the other members everybody was Sincere that they outshone. The stay in Fairley hotels & resorts, the food served by them, the personalised service & the staff were amazing.
I’m truly grateful for the wonderful experience I had with the choreographer Tushar ketan & his lovely wife, who taught us synchronisation & look graceful on stage. And I can’t forget that when at the last moment, I was leaving, now Shweta convinced me to give it a chance at least! Had I not gone there, I would have missed a golden opportunity. Thankyou so much shweta & thankyou to all the people who contributed in my path to Personality Developement
